MONTHLY TBR #6 | September 2018

September TBR.png

So, if you’ve read my August 2018 wrap-up, you would know that I finished zero books last month. It was partly due to a reading slump and partly because it was just a really busy month for me, and I couldn’t give nearly as much time as I wanted to reading. I’m hoping once I get back into school (omg, it’s my last year of undergrad, wtf), I can make up a schedule for both reading and keeping up on my blog. Because of that, I’m going to try and keep it light this month.

1. “Catching Fire” by Suzanne Collins (audiobook)

Catching Fire

I’m pretty sure this has been on my “currently reading” shelf since July…well, let’s see if I can finish it this month. I only have about nine hours left on the audiobook? So I should be able to.

2. “The Diviners” by Libba Bray (audiobook)

The Diviners

Yet another audiobook that I’ve been in the process of finishing for quite some time. It’s just so long…I love the narration and the book itself, but I still can’t get past the fact it’s a 16-hour book.

3. “Not Your Sidekick” by C.B. Lee

Not Your Sidekick

Yet another book that was on my August TBR that I never got to. I moved this one over to September’s TBR because I really do want to read it. And it’s pretty short, too, so I’m hoping it’s an easy read.

4. “A Darker Shade of Magic” by V.E. Schwab

A Darker Shade final for Irene

I’ve had this one for a few months, and after a few friends gave it high praises, I decided I would have to read it sooner rather than later.

5. “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” by J.K. Rowling

Sorcerer's Stone

This is going to be a re-read, since I’ve already read through the entire series last year. I probably wouldn’t have read it normally, but I’m part of a group chat of book bloggers on Twitter, and we’ve all decided to start a Harry Potter readalong, one book a month.

6. “If I Loved You Less” by Tamsen Parker (eARC)

If I Loved You Less

I just have to add this one, too. It’s an eARC I requested (my very first!!), and I was approved! From what I understand, it’s an f/f contemporary retelling of the Jane Austen classic, Emma. It comes out later in September, so I can’t wait to start it ASAP.

That’s what I have planned for this upcoming month! What do you all think? Are you reading any of these this month, or have you read them before? What were your thoughts? What do you plan on reading in September?

Until next time~
Kaitlyn
