BLOGOWEEN POST #5 | Shapeshifter

Hi, folks! Back again for Blogoween. This time, the post is going to be brought to you by the host Jamsu @ jamsureads. The prompt is, “Characters you’d like to dress up as on Halloween.”

So, this will just be a small list of five characters!

1. Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games

I have no interest in bows, but I just think it’d be fun to go as Katniss. It’d be a pretty easy set-up, too! Just some booths and some dark pants/shirt/jacket with my hair in a braid. Plus, I dunno, I just think Katniss is such a cool character.

BLOGOWEEN POST #4 | They Got My Back

They Got My Back.png

Hi, everyone! Today we have yet another Blogoween post! (my fourth…how ’bout that?). Today’s post is brought to you by Kaleena @ Reader Voracious! You should check out her blog! This post is about five characters I would want to have with me during the zombie apocalypse. Let’s get started!

1. Jesper Fahey from Six of Crows

Jesper would be so good to have: with his gunslinging abilities, he’ll help out a lot with anything long-distance. Also, I just really love his humor. And it’d be nice to laugh during the zombie apocalypse, ya know?

BLOGOWEEN POST #3 | Creepy Crawlies

Creepy Crawlies.png

Hi, everyone! I’m back with another Blogoween post. This time? Creepy Crawlies, i.e. fictional monsters/creatures I would hate to encounter in real life. This prompt is brought to you all by Kaleena @ Reader Voracious! Definitely check her blog out!

So, let’s begin!

1. Dementors from Harry Potter

Whenever I watch Prisoner of Azkaban, I’m always freaked out by the dementors. They’re all ghosty and everything. And then sucking up all your positive feelings? Hm, no thanks, I’m good.

BLOGOWEEN POST #2 & LIST #7| Top 5 Books About Witches

Top 5 Books About Witches.png

It’s my second Blogoween post! Yay! This post is centered around your favorite 5 books about witches, which is brought to you by Kaleena @ Reader Voracious. Check out her post for her answers, too!

Now, before I start, I’m going to be honest: I haven’t read a lot of books with witches in them. So this may be shorter than five, since…I probably don’t know five books with witches, lol. But I’ll try, anyway!

1. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling

Harry Potter.jpg

As much as I loathe JK Rowling as a human being, and as much as I think Harry Potter is over-hyped, I still enjoyed the series. Even more, I love the fifth installment partially because of the introduction of a certain character: Luna Lovegood! She’s definitely in my top 5 for Harry Potter characters, so it makes since this book is on the list for Top 5 Books with Witches, too.

BLOGOWEEN POST #1 & BOOK TAG #12 | Halloween Creatures 2.0 Book Tag

Halloween Creatures 2.0.png

Hi, everyone! This is going to be my very first Blogoween post!! Cool, right? And what better way to start it off than with a book tag? This book tag is brought to you by Anthony, one of the hosts for Blogoween! Here’s his post so you can check out his answers, too! So, without further ado, let’s get into the rules, and then the tag itself!

  • Answer all prompts.
  • Answer honestly.
  • Tag 1-13 people.
  • Link back to this post.
  • Remember to credit the creator. (Anthony @ Keep Reading Forward)
  • Have fun!

A Magical Character or Book.

Nina Zenik from Six of Crows is very magical… I mean, the ability to slow down hearts, choke someone out, make someone pass out, without even touching them? Count me in.

The Perfect Book to Read at Night.

Scary Stories

I loved reading this books as a kid, and I even tried a few of the urban legend tricks (I remember trying the one where you do certain things that allow you to see the ghost of a relative). Really creepy artwork, which is a plus.

Blogoween Announcement.png

Hello, everyone, and Happy Halloween the 3rd to you all. I’m (finally) getting around to my announcement post for Blogoween! It was created by Clo (Book Dragons) and a group of her friends. Without further ado, I’m just going to copy and paste some of the information from the original Blogoween post (which is also in the link from above, too).

What Is It?

A time for us book bloggers to take October, by it’s orangeness and go all Halloween, on it’s pumpkin self. Basically, get ready for Halloween themed posts from us through October! Some may be Autumn themed yet they’ll all be related back to books, blogging and/or writing.
